A number of UCFB students took part in a session of Blind 六合彩开奖结果 as part of a recent event held at UCFB Wembley.

We were fortunate enough to have with us Azeem Amir, an England Blind 六合彩开奖结果 Team player who was picked for the World Games earlier this year.

In addition to being a national team player, Azeem also runs his own business and charitable trust.

He lead the session, which taught our students at the event all about the game and how anybody can take part.

Blind football welcomes all, no matter which sight classification, as all players are blindfolded to make things equal for all players on both teams.

BA (Hons) Physical Education lecturer Joe Moreton said: 鈥淎zeem鈥檚 session was a great experience for the PE students, he was a very inspiring young man.

鈥淎t just 24 years old, it was great for our students to see such a positive young role-model.

鈥淎zeem delivered an engaging and motivational talk about overcoming challenges and the importance of a positive mindset.

鈥淔or the practical there was a focus on empathy and communication skills using a range of the senses. The session was a memorable experience in which everyone had a lot of fun at the same time!鈥

Azeem is a close friend of UCFB, having visited our Manchester Campus in March as part of an Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity event panel, along with Dev Trehan and Millie Chandarana.

He said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 great to share lived experiences with people who may have never interacted with people from certain backgrounds or challenges, and for them to be able to hear them stories.鈥
